Jogler Magnetic Level Gauges, Level Transmitters and Switches

Magnetic level gauges, external chambers, transmitters, switches and sight indicators, built to your specification in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We help you configure a new gauge or replace the one you have.

What Jogler Provides

Send Jogler the drawing of the gauge or assembly in your vessel and they build that exact assembly at their Baton Rouge plant. Products are fabricated to ASME B31.1 or B31.3 under a quality program based on ISO 9001 guidelines.

The MGT-6000 transmitter retrofits to most magnetic level indicators, and JS-10/JS-30 switches retrofit onto existing magnetic level gauge installations.

  • JMG magnetic level gauges and JXC external chambers, custom engineered to your connections
  • MGT-6000 and ILT-6000 magnetostrictive transmitters and the LLT-1000 laser level transmitter
  • Transmitters and switches that retrofit to existing magnetic level gauges
  • In-house CNC machining, extruded outlets, code welding, X-ray and PMI

Magnetic Level Gauges & Chambers

Magnetic level gauges and external chambers designed to ASME B31.1 or B31.3 and custom engineered to mate with new or existing piping.

Jogler JMG magnetic level gauge with bargraph indicator

JMG Magnetic Level Gauge

Built to your connections and center-to-center

A float inside a non-magnetic chamber drives a magnetic bargraph or shuttle indicator, so the level is visible with no fluid in contact with glass.

Key features

  • Full vacuum to 5,000 psig and -320°F to 1,000°F
  • Fluid specific gravity as low as 0.25; indicator visible to 200 feet
  • Extruded full-bore outlets and one-weld deep-drawn floats, each hydrotested above gauge MAWP

Common applications

  • Separators and oil/water interface
  • Boiler drums and feedwater tanks
  • Reactor level and batch processing
Jogler JXC external chamber for a direct insertion level transmitter

JXC External Chamber

A bridle for the transmitter you already use

JXC chambers are bridles that house level instruments outside the vessel, so the instrument can be isolated from the process for maintenance or recalibration.

Key features

  • 1-1/2 in to 4 in chambers
  • For guided wave radar, capacitance, tuning fork and ILT-6000 transmitters
  • Designed to ASME B31.1 or B31.3
Jogler dual chamber level system with transmitter on the secondary chamber

Dual Chamber Level System

Redundant level technologies on one vessel connection set

A magnetic level gauge with a close-coupled secondary chamber for a second technology such as guided wave radar or a JLT-6000 magnetostrictive transmitter.

Key features

  • Left or right hand secondary chambers in 1-1/2 in to 4 in sizes
  • 304SS, 316SS, Hastelloy C-276, Alloy 20 and other non-magnetic metals
  • Top-bottom, side-side, side-bottom and top-side connections
Category 2 of 5

Level Transmitters

Continuous level and interface signals from a transmitter clamped on a magnetic gauge, inserted in the vessel or reading by laser without contact.

Jogler MGT-6000 magnetostrictive transmitter mounted on a magnetic level gauge

MGT-6000 Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter

Clamps onto a magnetic level gauge

Mounts outside the gauge chamber and retrofits to most magnetic level indicators, so you can add a 4-20 mA signal without opening the process.

Key features

  • 0.01% of span accuracy
  • 4-20 mA with HART and an LCD display
  • Measuring lengths to 35 ft; FM approved for the US and Canada
Jogler ILT-6000 direct insertion magnetostrictive level transmitter with float

ILT-6000 Direct Insertion Level Transmitter

Patented in-tank transmitter in an isolation well

The waveguide sits in an isolation well, so the transmitter and waveguide can be removed without interrupting the process.

Key features

  • Full vacuum to 3,000 psig and 800°F
  • Total level and interface outputs, 4-20 mA with HART
  • Isolation well and float in 316 SS, CPVC, Alloy 20, titanium, Hastelloy, PP or PVDF
Jogler LLT-1000 LIDAR laser level transmitter

LLT-1000 LIDAR Level Transmitter

Non-contact laser level for solids and opaque liquids

Measures distance by time-of-flight laser in silos, tanks, hoppers, chutes and bunkers, with a narrow beam you can aim at the most critical point.

Key features

  • 2 to 330 ft with a reflector, ±0.5 in
  • 4-20 mA plus two relays; local USB programming
  • FM and CSA hazardous area approved

Common applications

  • Silos, hoppers, chutes and bunkers
  • Dry bulk foods and pet food
  • Plastics and aggregates
Category 3 of 5

Point Level Switches

Switches that mount on the outside of a magnetic level gauge, so setpoints can be set or moved without opening process piping.

Jogler JS-10 and JS-30 magnetic level switches

JS-10 / JS-30 Magnetic Level Switch

Hermetically sealed latching switches with no wetted parts

The JS-10 (1 A) suits DCS or PLC inputs and the JS-30 (3 A) drives larger relays and solenoid valves. Both clamp to the gauge chamber.

Key features

  • Bi-stable latching reed switch, SPDT or DPDT
  • Flying leads, epoxy-coated aluminum or 316 stainless steel enclosure
  • CSA Class I, Div 1, Groups B, C, D

Common applications

  • Overfill prevention
  • Dump and fill control
Jogler JP-450 magnetically actuated no-bleed pneumatic switch

JP-450 Pneumatic Level Switch

Magnetically actuated no-bleed pneumatic switch

A pneumatic point level switch that clamps to a magnetic level gauge and can be set up as a high or low level switch.

Key features

  • Zero air consumption under static conditions
  • Mounts with hose clamps; setpoint adjusts along the chamber
  • Supply, vent and output ports for alarms and control valves

Common applications

  • Oil-water separators and sumps with pneumatic control
