Rupture Pin Model HPRV

High-pressure relief valve for frac fluid systems.

Rupture Pin Model HPRV high-pressure relief valve in red with a hammer union inlet

Model HPRV Overview

The Model HPRV is an angle body valve that holds a bubble-tight seal until pressure reaches an exact set point. It then opens in milliseconds to help prevent pump, hose and system damage on frac fluid systems.

Key features

  • Relief settings from 7,000 to 15,000 psi with POCO set pressure pins
  • 3 in 1502 hammer unions, standard 1502H x 1502T connections
  • Change the set pressure by changing the color-coded pin
  • Forged AISI 4130 body with stainless-steel trim
  • Greater washout resistance and field repairable

Common applications

  • Frac fluid systems
  • Mud systems
  • Slurry systems

Application help

Need a quote on the Model HPRV?

Send us the set pressure, operating pressure, process media, temperature, line size and connection, back pressure and how the valve will be mounted, since pins are sized with the valve oriented as it will be in use. Tell us if the valve must be ASME UD stamped. Replacing a pin? Send a photo of the pin label; it shows the pin code, valve serial number and set point. Comparing with a rupture disc? We carry no rupture disc line, so we will tell you plainly where a pin fits and where it doesn't. If you don't know an answer, mark it unknown.
